Evaporation experiment

We have been learning about evaporation experiment evaporation is where a liquid turns into a gas.

Aim-To evaporate copper sulfate to separate the mixture

Hypothesis-I think the blue will evaporate and there will be liquid.

Equipment-Copper sulfate solution,250ml Beaker heat proof mat, evaporation basin element.

Method
1 Set up element
2 Add 100ml of hot water to the beaker on the element
3 Add copper sulfate to the evaporation basin until its quarter full
4 Carefully place the evaporation basin on the top of the beaker
5 Turn on the element to 2 to warm it up and keep going on different to heat up
6 Heat the solution until most of the solvent has been evaporated and crystals of solute are forming.
7 Turn off the element careful not to touch as will be hot for a long time.

Observations -what did you see I saw bubbles and stem coming out that means it's getting hot at level 8 bubbles are know boiling just like pasta its is know very hot there are blue crystals coming out and smoke coming out and powder starting to form.
Conclusion-No our colouicion wasn't correct were thought that the blue will evaporate and there will be liquid
Discussion-We saw bubbles on 2 means it is heating up later on the bubbles came but steam came out at heat temperature they were starting to boil just like pasta would smoke coming out means it is very hot
Evaluation-Yes were did it was cool experiment.
